Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026. These terms cover your use of tvchimney.com and the chimney and fireplace services Tennessee Valley Chimney ("TVC," "we," "us") provides. Plain English, same as everything else we do.

Using this website. You're welcome to browse freely and to contact us through it. You agree not to misuse the site — no scraping our content for commercial republication, no interfering with its operation, no submitting false quote requests. Content on this site (text, photos, guides) belongs to TVC; sharing links is welcomed, copying pages is not.

Quotes and pricing. Estimates provided before work begin as good-faith ranges based on what you tell us and what we can see. The firm price is confirmed after inspection, in writing, before any work begins. We don't start work you haven't approved, and the price we quote is the price you pay.

Inspections and advice. Our findings and recommendations are based on professional chimney evaluation to NFPA 211 standards at the time of service. They are not guarantees of future performance, and they don't substitute for the manufacturer instructions that govern your specific appliances.

Scheduling and access. You agree to provide reasonable access to the chimney, fireplace, and related areas at the scheduled time, and to secure pets and fragile items. If we can't safely access the system (locked gates, aggressive animals, unsafe structures), we'll tell you why and what would change it.

Warranties. Workmanship warranties are provided in writing on the specific job. Manufacturer warranties (e.g., stainless liner systems) are provided by those manufacturers per their terms. Nothing on this page limits those warranties.

Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by Tennessee law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the service giving rise to the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Emergencies. If you have an active fire, smoke in the home, or suspected carbon monoxide, call 911 first — this website is not an emergency channel.
