Meet Your Local Chimney Company
About Tennessee Valley Chimney
A local trade company built on one belief: East Tennessee families deserve chimney work done to the standard, priced straight, and explained in plain English.

Our Story
Why We Started Tennessee Valley Chimney
We started Tennessee Valley Chimney because our region was full of fireplaces and short on straight answers. Too many homeowners had been told their chimney "needs everything" with no photos, no explanation, and a quote that grew by the visit. Too many had been talked out of a good, saveable chimney — or talked into major work the honest fix was minor. And too many families were burning on systems nobody had properly checked in years.
The trade we're proud to work in has a standard for a reason: NFPA 211 exists because chimneys carry fire through the middle of people's homes. So we built the company around it. Every job starts with an inspection, every finding gets photographed, every quote is itemized before work begins, and every customer hears the truth — including "your chimney's fine, see you next year."
The name comes from the land. The Tennessee Valley — the river valley, the foothills, the ridges, the little towns between Knoxville and the Tri-Cities — is the territory we know and the customers we serve. We're not a franchise chasing zip codes; we're neighbors keeping the neighborhood's fireplaces safe.
How We Work
Experience. Quality. Trust. — What That Means Here
Safety First, Sales Second
Findings and photos before any quote. If your system is safe, we say so and leave — that's a good day's work.
Craftsmanship on Every Scope
From a cap swap to a full rebuild: right materials, right methods, photo-documented at every stage.
Straight Answers & Pricing
Plain-English findings, itemized quotes approved before work starts, no surprise line items.
Local for the Long Haul
We live and work in East Tennessee — the people we serve are the people we'll see at the grocery store.
Our Standard: NFPA 211
The National Fire Protection Association's NFPA 211 — Standard for Chimneys, Fireplaces, Vents, and Solid Fuel-Burning Appliances — is the benchmark our entire trade answers to. It defines the three inspection levels, the annual maintenance requirement, and the construction and repair standards we build to. Every finding, recommendation, and repair we make traces back to it. If you ever want to read it yourself, ask — we'll show you exactly which section applies to your chimney.
